Meet Charlie

Who are you?

I am Charlie. I sing the majority of the songs and provide some percussive relief with my ever improving egg shaking skills… for those that don’t know what that is you will have to come and see us to find out!! Originally from Wales, the land of song! I spent 18 fab years there then left for University. After moving around the UK and the world as a professional musician, I’ve finally settled (for the moment) in Market Harborough, which is a great place to be.

Well, I started singing from a very early age, in fact only a while back I found misplaced tapes of me singing when I was 3! Performing has been a major part of my life, probably helped by the fact that both my parents were musicians themselves. After training in Uni to be an actress, I went to work as a Havenmate to pay off some student fees and kind of got sucked into that world!! Fell in love with the drummer from the band and the rest as they say… is history!

Other interests....

I have many interests… infact I flit from one to another quite regularly. I have endured many craft things and try so hard to like the dreaded gym ( I still say that it is bad for you.. after dislocating my shoulder! Well that’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it!!)

I am, like Will, very interested in food. I love to cook, infact that is something that I am incredibly passionate about. I have to thank my late Dad for that love. He loved to cook and his enthusiasm rubbed off on me. So every spare minute of mine is dedicated to cooking…. Gonna have to watch my waist or I will be reluctantly visiting that gym!

Like every other woman I love to shop and have more clothes than I know what to do with. I am just thankful for the ever changing styles for more excuses to visit the shops.

Oh…. And I love puppies, bunnies, long walks and of course …..world peace!!!
